Wondering
I'm new to this so I can't build routes too well, but I was wondering whether anyone fancied making the Alderney railway route? This would be an interesting project to make due to the cliff faces and other impressive scenery.

Do have a go your self! Everyone has to start somewhere, and a"table top"route like Alderney would be a good place to start.
If you really don`t fancy route building then you could collaborate with a route builder. Could you offer source materials, maps photos?
The snag with Alderney is it`s remoteness for most people to get 1st hand info.
If you do have a go can I suggest you don`t generate the terrain by hand ? Because Alderney topography is convoluted. Try DEMEX (satellite data) (assuming it covers the Island) or TSTF (converts map contours)
Best wishes Rick
