Dolphin in the sim for the first time. Still a lot of work to be done I hasten to add-the engine that goes in the finished product will be much better than this, I promise!
Oh and David-I can assure you the prototype 4-wheelers are as thin as the model.

See the above, they've only been posted VERY recently, so it counts as news ;)

Thanks David!

PeterBrynt - you have to realise that we all have other things to do - and making these things take time.

I'm not promosing anything, but Annie is complete and ready to go into the sim - but no screenies as I'm saving it until Midlan Madness!

Speaking from experience, I can say its a bit of a squeeze, 2 on one of those benches!

Yes, me and Murray managed to just squeeze onto one of thos benches - and we're both quite thin. Me and my dad - no chance!

Sorry, Chris - I've created the tiles but nothing else as I'm in the midst of building scenery. However, when I start on this one I'll have all the scenery done so it will be a quick process.

I've got permission for trees, and completed the buildings at Lhen Coan (I believe MuzTrem is doing the canopy), and the replacement track texture is in the route already.

Right, here's the news upate for the week just gone:

'Dolphin' has been progressing well thanks to Murray (MuzTrem), and this should be complete very soon I believe, as it already looks great!

'Annie' has had the valave gear completed, but awaits animation

and the latest news:

The 4-wheel coaches are nearly complete, thanks to Ben Vincer

Here's a pic!:

-----------------

Right, this is what to expect from us over the next 2 weeks:

Annie, Dolphin, Sea Lion (steam) & Walrus should be completed, along with the coaches

And, a preview of the route (yes work will commence very shortly!) will be made available by screenshots. I'm now busy at Midland Madness, sadly, but the aim was to demonstrate 6 locos plus tsock on the route. In theory this can still happen, if someone else from the project goes.

Jon-it may take a little longer to complete Dolphin and Walrus-my main focus this week is to finish the farm buildings I promised for Gowin to Knowear, having just spent a very wet weekend at my Grandparent's in Wales getting the measurements! And there's a whole host of things to do on Dolphin before I can even think about Walrus
