FS-dead

Post by cadet200 »

yep, my copy of flightsim has officially kicked the bucket...or so it seems. it was working well with no problem whatsoever until one day i fired it up and i was just stuck with the splash screen. i tried safe mode...same thing. i reinstalled my graphics card drivers...on yer bike mate!

anyways, after much soul searching i decided to completely format my pc and start from scratch. it didn't work.

anyone got any ideas? fs gets stuck in "not responding" mode as soon as i fire it up by the way. no BSOD. no "phone home". well, not until i kill the process.

Odd. How long have you waited before killing it?

Also, did you install anything prior to the probem? Some addons can cause issues/incresed loading times.

i've given it times between 5mins and 1 hour. at first i though it might be an addon but i have no addons installed at the mo. it's a fresh install.
