Dorset Coast area

Post by mattcarey »

Hi All

I am making a activity for The new Dorset Coast route. So far i have all the passenger services around the correct timetable for it.

I thought its best to place it here, as i am trying to get some information on freight around between Southampton and Weymouth.

Does anyone know any freight move (loco moves etc) between 1800 - 2010 on a saturday evening please?

Regards

Matthew

You might get some container movement out of Maritime, but that will be about it, I think.

Allypally is right - freight passing Eastleigh on a Saturday evening as follows:

1515 Leeds - Southampton Freightliner
1915 Trafford Park - Southampton Freightliner

Both will be 66s. The return workings are on Sunday evening at 1735 and 1935 respectively.

This may be slightly out of date though...

Don't know if this is any help, but it is most of the freight operations that run on DC which I did to help out some of our activity writers for the CD. Not all are included because some aren't really worthy of an activity, but most of them are there. As for timings, does it really have to be accurate? Make it up I say. :)

*Edit - This is for Version 2 of the route which none of you have, so for now, some of them are irrelevant.
