southern network

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Excuse me! You are making false claims. From the screenshot I have seen, you are not making a new route, you are using mine and editing it. Fine, you can edit it all you like, but you are not going to upload it and distribute it on UKTS or anywhere else.
so far i have built waterloo-southampton
That is a load of rubbish. You are making claims that are not true. And you want proof? Oh, here it is!!

'Your' Clapham Junction:

Hmmm, don't they look similar! :o :o :o

Judging by the fact that you are stealing my route, I'm guessing that the Victoria - Brighton bit you have supposedly built happends to be LBE based? Just an assumption, but it seems likely.

Please do no insult me by taking credit for something you have not done. I have put a lot of time and effort into this, and it is very insulting when some newbie comes along and takes credit for it!

As said you can edit it as much as you want, but you will not upload or distribute, and you will not make false claims.

Thank you.

tango4262 wrote:im really sorry if i have caused any trouble if there is any way i can make it up to you for example a copy of the finished extension
That will not be necessary as funnily enough I had an idea of doing it myself
tango4262 wrote:i never meant to cause any trouble i just wanted to make people happy.
Taking credit for another authors work is hardly the best way to go about making people happy.
tango4262 wrote:i thought that it would be a great idea to build a part 2 i know this is a bit innapropriate
Don't really understand what you mean here, but if you have read around the forums you would know that the route is going very well. Also, if you mean 'part 2' as to be L-S, LBE and WCW, then that is a huge route and you would need a very powerful pc to cope with that.
tango4262 wrote:but u know the mt team i was wondering if you would want to go into partnership but thats your descision :(
Well I am already an active member of E-Rail, and London - Southampton is part of it. MT also happen to be a commercial group, and a freeware route like this would not be suitable.

Thank you for you email too, i suppose i could just copy and paste my answer into a reply like you did yours.

Oh a bribe, how very civil. Don't worry, a 375 reskin is more than enough to make sure I put this behind me, but thanks anyway.

That is a nice offer........but I'm ok thank you. I am quite capable of doing this on my own, and I already have a small number of helpers (to whom I am very greatful towards, you know who you are  ) The route is named London - Southampton because it goes funnily enough from London - Southampton. Lancing, Brighton and Horsham, as far as I'm aware, are not inbetween or anywhere near Waterloo or Southampton.

It doesn't matter if someone has already built it, as long as you don't use it and modify it. For the Brighton one, did you just edit the existing commercial one by any chance?

I think we probably know the answer to that Damon judging by what has already been said

How about
Gatwick to Bognor via Crawley and Horsham
I dont think no one has done that route.
And as long as you build Three bridges and Gatwick yourself (Not from LBE) I cant see a problem.

Could make interesting activities for the future.
