My Dorset Coast Activities[First 3 released at end of topic]

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

My Dorset Coast Activities[First 3 released at end of topic]

Post by 250787 »

I am currently creating the first set of activities for the Dorset Coast which are:
1) Weymouth To Waterloo (As far as Southampton)
2) Desiro Failure at Bournemouth
3) Voyager to Bournemouth
4) Wareham to Brockenhurst Stopper
5) Undecided

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Just to let you knows, ive just finished an act doing the reverse of this. But you start from a siding in Poole, and then get your passengers from Bournmouth..

heres number 5 for you the two 47/3's in freightliner grey in the list of yours working the Leeds - Southampton Jumboliner normally consists of bout 35 KFA or FFA wagons. this run could be using 2 routes London - Southampton, from Basingstoke - Southampton station, then the dorset coast route Southampton station to Maritime yard also involving a visit to the fueling point then drive on to a set of empty flats with a couple of containers for the northbound return trip, End of Activity.

The 5th activity is a Virgin 47 service from Poole. There will be a second activity pack which will include some freight activities. Thanks for the idea

Could a 2 part activity be made for those with the SWT442 with a 1x 5 car 442 Weymouth - Waterloo service, when arriving at Southampton the activity would end with you having to connect to another 5 car 442 (as they do in reality) and then continue with part 2 on the London - Southampton route with the 10 car 442 ?

I'd have a go but I'm not too good with AE, only just managed to make an activity from Dorchester West to Weymouth in a Wessex Trains 150.

Could easily be done, but the order of events is the other way around. You would start at Waterloo with a 10-car Wessex on L-S, and then run down to Southampton where you would disconnect the last Wessex. Then on DCR you would start at Southampton with the unconnected Wessex behind you, and continue on your journey to Weymouth.

I'm actually doing an activity similar to this, but you couple up at Waterloo.

I thought they did this at Bornemouth.
