About the bent/sloping shots... it could be the shutter speed. Or the fact that the camera cant keep up with the movment of the train.

But its weird... your from train shots are more or less in focus... mine however are never..... so ateast there is one plus side to a camera that yours!

But as i say.... try fiddling with the shutter speed.. sounds stupid but if your not planning to go out and still want to practice take pictures of the cars that go past your house. say from a bedroom window.... or pictures of the planes that fly over your house.

Damn, I wanted to go on that tour, but when I saw the add in a magazine it was too late for me to get time off work

Some nice shots there. Ad regards the commnets about shutter speed, my advice is to go digital. Most digital cameras will now find the optimum settings for your shot automatically, so you don't need to think about things like shutter speed anymore. Perfect for lazy photographers like myself!
