Back to Hither Green Steam

Post by michaelhendle »

I have just down loaded this activity along with the class 33 version, but when I try to run the steam one I get a class instead of the BR Standard 5.

Can I just swap the loco's over in consist builder?, as I have downloaded the BR class 5 that is needed for the activity.

Yes you can. Both activities are exactly the same except for the player loco.

Did you download the activities a few days ago? I withdrew the original steam version as it incorrectly used the Class 33 diesel. The correct steam version using the Standard 5 has since been uploaded.

That's the one I downloaded, also theCl 5 tender is chain coupling, and the CCT's couplings are automatic, so can't couple up at the start of the activity.

I have run the deisel one and that is really good, at present I have changed the class 5 to a BR Q1 as the tender is automatic, and ran the activity, and that is equaly as good as the deisel one.

They make a welcome addition to LSE.

Michael - glad you liked the activities. There was a note in the readme of the steam version advising that a coupling change was required.
