New GM 'Sheds'

Post by clay001 »

I haven't been able to spend as much time as I'd like with MSTS or indeed UKTS recently, so apologies if this is old news...
I recently followed a couple of links and discovered at http://www.msts.nl some new models of '66s availaible, there being a couple of EWS 'Red Deaths', a 'Fred', and a batch of European examples (heaven knows they're everywhere). These excellent looking MSTS models also have custom cabs, and the genuine sounds of the dull groan produced by the modern GM power unit. I appreciate there's already some superb 66 models availaible at UKTS, but I thought modern traction types might be interested.

All the best,

Clay.

The link is very slow on 56k but I pointed these out some time ago if they're the ones by a 'red indian' or whatever.

They also appear on ts.com and are excellent :)

Um, yes they are. In fairness I did do a quick search of UKTS forums for terms regarding these 'red indian' models, I probably worded it wrongly, apologies if I've wasted everybodys' time. If I remember correctly I downloaded a plain grey 'Shed' from http://www.train-sim.com, which contained a few shortcuts to downloading further '66s.

I guess 'not very new' would be rather more appropriate.
