I am not sure what is the exact problem with flicker of my Train Simulator on my monitor? Here is what the program of Microsoft Train Simulator start with upload -- everything is fine like normal but by the time you're in Route and Activity Selection to choose the route and activity then there is a flickering on the monitor screen. After I chose the route and activity -- the flickering goes away. Then everything is normal again except with that part -- a minor problem. Anyway I have PowerColor ATI 9250 with 128MB graphic card in my computer with PIII 800 MHz with 2 x 512MB SDRAM memory in it and at last with the operating system of Windows XP SP-2. Before I forget that my program of Microsoft Train Simulator is updated with ver 1.2.
I am not sure if I need to worry about this or just leave it because it's not a major problem. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you

Mine does this sometimes...I think it is a DirectX fault.
However I just close MSTS....and restart again and its fine.
If I continue I seem to loose a good 10 FPS .
My PC only gets Rebooted once in a while....and it often occurs after a soft reboot ( It never gets a Hard ReBoot BTW).
No answers I'm afraid...just some information...hopefully of some use.
PS I'm still on DirectX9a
Cheers
Jon

I have the same experience with you had. When I restarted the computer and the flickering did go away. I wonder if we should upgrade or replace the DirectX program to see if that will help us down the road. I am not sure what mine is in the computer. I have to wait till in the morning when I get home from work to check it out. I believe that I have DirectX9a in my computer.
Thank you
