Old MSTS Videos

Post by qzdcg8 »

Rooting through my folders and came across a huge 18Mb AVI file I created in January 2002 using my trusty old ViewCam and my video-in dongle. It was taken by pointing the Camcorder at the screen!

It shows a 17 second clip of stevesherrats original prototype 'Triang' EM2 running along Longdendale on Woodhead 1. Sadly there's no sound.

I ran it through Windows MovieMaker to create a 900K WMV and here it is if anyone's interested in a relic from the MSTS ark

P.S. The jerkiness is down to video capturing on my old PC - its in the AVI file and faithfully reproduced in the WMV.

Anyone else got anything like this they want to share?
