Hunslet Hundred

Post by JonPotter »

Hi

I was wondering about producing an activity for the FR route to cover the Hunslet Hundred. However, I need the folloing locos/stock - does anyone know where I can get them/be willing to reskin?

Hunslets:
Holy War
Irish Mail
Velinhelli
Dolbadarn
Alan George (in Green, not black)
Linda in the style it was then, ie blue livery and sovepipe chimney, also different smokebox door

Other engines:
Sgt. Murphy

Coaches:
FR 37 & 38

The basic plan for the first activity is to drive Linda and Blanche over the entire length of the line. I also want to do other ones. I'm currently nearly finished on my first FR activity.....

Thanks,
Jon

Hunslets:
Holy War - UKTS, by Tim Elsby, reskin by me.
Irish Mail - UKTS, by Tim Elsby
Velinhelli - UKTS, by Tim Elsby
Dolbadarn - not available yet.
Alan George (in Green, not black) - theres a black one but not a green one.
Linda in the style it was then, ie blue livery and sovepipe chimney, also different smokebox door - FR CD - don't know if this is still available but Linda in midnight blue was one of the CD exclusives.

Other engines:
Sgt. Murphy - not available yet.

Coaches:
FR 37 & 38 - not available yet.

I'm not sure if the CD is still available. I'll find out.

37 and 38 would make interesting models. I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,
Kevin

Thanks guys

An Alan George reskin would definately be nice!...

Is there a 'Conway Castle' or 'Upnor castle' available?

Or any information about train timings, loco rosters, or anything like that - I only have about 3 hours of video to go on.

Have a look in the SpoonersTS forum for Uproar, it'll be coming with the WHR route.

Both will come with Welsh Highland when its finished. Timescale wise, well it won't be for a while yet I'll put it that way.

I'd leave them out of your activity for now.

Unfortunately, as with any route, the answer is, when it is ready. If you happen to be anywhere near the Ffestiniog over the weekend, its the Ffestiniog fifty weekend, so maybe you might be able to get a copy of the stock CD there, if not, then I'm sure one of us who will be there could help you out

Thanks

Yes, I'm coming up to the FR on the Saturday and going back on the Monday - from Buckinghamshire (!).

Where abouts will I be able to get one?

They may possibly have a few copies at Harbour station still, if not then I may, (if Kevin allows it) try to send you the file via e-mail, but if you are planning to release the activity (upload it) you do need to bear in mind that the CD Exclusive models will only be owned by people who have the CDs so you'd have to clearly state that the stock CD is neccessary.
If you come into Minffordd Yard when your over there (lovely place type grammar  ) I'll be there along with the Spooners TS team and Selsig we may be able to help you better there.

Thanks

I've now done a small activity (my first to get finished - all though I have about 30 underway!) where you take a Minffordd shuttle to Minffordd (not surprisingly  ) and you pass the Minffordd Yard Shuttle. I'm not entirely sure If I've pacakaged it up right in the folders, so can I please hava a tester? E-mail me (jon_potter@tesco.net) if you can help! It's only a very small file (about 8KB).

The next one I do will probably be the first main one of the Hunslet Hundred idea - but an ecening down train, using DLG as the motive power (I can just say that Linda had been put to bed!)
