Class 312 in NSE colours
Hi,
Just wondered if anyone knows whether anyone is reskinning the 312 into Network Southeast colours?
I want it to be first train to test my LTS route.
Thanks
Jim

Making Tracks are building one for their LSE2: Great Eastern MSTS Add-On, so no doubt it will be a very high quality model. But it will be payware.

Chances are that it will be payware but I dont think anything has been comfirmed yet. However judging by the screens available if it is payware it will be well worth it!nickuk wrote:Making Tracks are building one for their LSE2: Great Eastern MSTS Add-On, so no doubt it will be a very high quality model. Would doubt it, MT are probably making their own model........as long as the author of the freeware one is agreeable to it, I would think that there would be no problem in doing an NSE version of itduggan wrote:Alright i get yeah, so i'm right in sayin that they own the copyright to the one on uktrainsim so nobodies allowed to do repaints in nse livery.

My point was that MT's model when released will probably render the UKTS version obsolete due to the fact that its is a much better model with superb details and textures (Even inlcudes the indents at the end of each coach and a corrigated roof)
Im not saying the UKTS version lame because I know its better than anything I can create, but as with all software developments, methods and technology move on and in time better models created.
Im sure if you cant wait the Author will allow you to reskin it if you ask him.
Daniel
P.S
I dont want the author of the UKTS version to take offence or regard this as negative feedback because it ISN'T!!!!

the MT one will be payware - and a freeware model of something that you can also get by paying for it never hurt anyone.
I may be wrong, but wouldn't the Thames-Mersey 310 be a better model to reskin anyway, as I thought they were what the LTS route saw as opposed to the 90mph 312s?
If your route is going to be freeware and you want a 312 in NSE to run on it, then one day someone will have to release a freeware 312 in NSE.

2 b honest they will hav their work cut ou for em as tha 1 on ukts is very detailed specially the front after all it is an extremely difficult train 2 model, there's no doudting it will b a hard act 2 follow so the speak!!!!My point was that MT's model when released will probably render the UKTS version obsolete due to the fact that its is a much better model with superb details and textures (Even inlcudes the indents at the end of each coach and a corrigated roof)

I am i right in saying the MT 312 has'nt been made yet so how do you know it will be any better than the one already available on the ukts if you have'nt actually seen it yet!!My point was that MT's model when released will probably render the UKTS version obsolete due to the fact that its is a much better model with superb details and textures (Even inlcudes the indents at the end of each coach and a corrigated roof)
