TS-Tools Registration

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

TS-Tools Registration

Post by driverhill »

I purchased a copy on the 11/03/05. Since then the web site has disappeared and I cannot get a replacement registraion key as the one sent me no longer works, nor do the email address supplied with the porgram. Can anybody advise please.

Or, as I have read it has finally gone down the tubes and I can kiss my money goodbye.

Hi.
You could try emailing Tony on....

tony@dcm.nicewebs.net

.....but I don't know if you'll get a response.
I bought my TST2 in November 2004, and I reckon I was one of the last people to receive a valid Reg Code before the DCM site (and presumably the programme!) ground to a screeching halt.

Good Luck

Many thanks Dave.

I received my new key within the hour from Tony. I used the sales email address on the ts-tools website.

Glad to hear it Peter! :D

(btw...it's a good addon, and a great pity that it seems to be passing away!)

My copy of TsTools II came with its reg code, so maybe thats why they have stopped issuing them off the site.

Glad to hear someone got lucky with their request though :)

Glad you got the code sorted. However if there's going to be this hassle maybe the web site (if it ever returns) needs to direct people in the direction of the CD version.

I had a few emails from Tony a while ago when I could not get TsTools II running on one of my PCs. Their problem was that the program was written using the Microsoft Virtual Machine and this is no longer supplied by Microsoft. so it was going to take a large re-write of the program using Sun Java if they were to go any further with it.

Since then I have changed PCs and managed to get hold of a suitable version of the Microsoft VM and now it all works fine again.

I somehow doubt if there will be any more development of TsTools unless they have something up their sleeves for one of the new train sims.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
