Looks very good. Don't know when it'll be out, though.

That looks brilliant!
Aren't the power cars a repaint of the Duplex? So did he make the coaches himself? :-?

The Thalys PBKA power cars use the Duplex bodyshell to accomodate the four voltage kit needed for France, Germany and the Benelux countries. The PBA sets use the "normal" TGV power car and are three voltage for France and Benelux.

This looks like a new model (at least the coaches do) as they have interior views, which is interesting. Looks very nice. I did myself a repaint for my own benefit using the exisiting freeware Duplex power cars with Clem Tillier's Thalys coaches a year or so ago to represent one of the units I sampled in real life from Cologne to Brussels a couple of years ago. However, of course, Clems original TGV coaches don't contain an interior. It will be interesting to see this model when released and if the guy intends to do any other TGV sets.

Apparently the "new" trains for the TGV Est to Luxembourg are going to be Duplex power cars coupled to refurbished existing TGV-Resaux trailer sets, and the Reseaux power cars are going to be coupled to new rakes of Duplex coaches, which should make for two more interesting variations of TGV!

As far as I knew browsing the french MSTS sites that TGV had simply repainted the Duplex and adjusted its size to fit the PBA trailers.

Certainly the translation of dialogue in that thread, there is no mention that it is a new model or WIP soon to be released. Simply screenshots on his new 19" monitor and uploaded via 8mb/s net connection.

It's certainly a new project, as the thread is within a sub forum all about the Thalys project.

Also the trailers can't be the Speedworks PBA ones, as they don't have interiors, and these do, as markw pointed out.

I think the line about the 8mb connection and 19" monitor is saying that the shots should ideally be loaded on computers with them. Although the translation isn't great- there's a word "ribembelle" which keeps popping up which it seems unable to translate.

The laptop and the reflections on the window in the passenger view look good :)

The pantograph and the area around it has more detailed than I have ever seen (apart from in real life of course) :o
