Looks rather good, will save snaking across London to get home at nite. Will be a shame to see them go from North Pole. I think it will be handed to OOC once Eurostar have finished with it.

Great Western Franchise HST Depot?

OOC is Old Oak Common, the main depot in Acton.

And it's Temple Mills, not Temple Meads.

Would make sense for FGW to get it for HST maintenance - newer facilities = higher reliability?

Nah...

hahaha.....
FGW get North Pole....

Probably Network Rail will take over and put it's own vehicles....

Or maybe Southern to store their 377/2.

Yeah...right...after all Southern wont have any need for their 377/2's once all the MK1 EMU's have gone now will they

Lucazone or Bassild, (or anyone else for that matter) do you know if the Eurostarts will retain their 3rd rail gear? Because surely it won't be needed when CTRL 2 is completed.

I'd expect them to retain it. Its not going to do too much harm to leave it on, and you never know when you'll need it again.

Once the next phase of CTRL is completed, the 3rd rail gear will be removed from the units as they will have no work over such track. If they need to traverse 3rd rail lines, they will be hauled. E* will not retain redundant equipment as the cost of maintenance and examination is unwarranted.

Temple Meads depot? :-?

Sounds like they should electrify the GWML line if they where stabled in Bristol Temple Meads station. :o

I would have thought Temple Mills would have more sidings than 13! :o

The design has been changed since that artists impression and there is no room for 13 and the final version will have even less, currently.

Its very rare for an artists impression to see realisation :P They arent constrained by cost.....

An OO gauge model was used to design Bedford depot, and what did they use to gauge it all - a class 390....
