So it's too difficult to click on the CD ordering page for a freeware route?
My point about paid ads stand - if the advertiser wants to put a link in a paid ad, great. UKTS is not here to give publishers free advertising and direct potential customers to them - that's what their advertising budget is for.

Sorry to argue with you Barry, but I think Mr Pepper does have a point here. Especially for stuff like the latest news story about the North Yorkshire CD available.
A small click link (like the click for more info links) straight to the CD ordering page may be a good idea and doesn't take up too much room.
Is this our first disagreement Barry?

Got a problem with that, Fodda - good beer doesn't like me! Makes me throw up next morning
I'll have to find the Glenmorangie...
In truth, a simple link for a new freeware route wouldn't be bad. My thing was that the initial post mentioned links to advertisements - and I object to giving free advertising to someone who should be paying for it.
Then Mattaf caught me at a bad moment - the Pee bloody Cee crashed in a big way Saturday, and I had to spend all day reinstalling XP and all the updates - then Sunday morning the washing machiine peed all over the floor, and I came on here looking for relaxation...

LOL! Me and you both Barry.
I spent all of yesterday hunting for a rogue Trojan/Virus/Spyware that I was sure was on my home PC. Deleted all of MSTS and every TS add-on I had ever installed (first time my PC's been totally devoid of trains since the day it was released). Did AV scans, AdAware scans, searched the interweb, and finally found that the handy little toggle on my router that I reset on Saturday evening was responsible for the rogue indicator!!! But it's fixed.
Then this morning, some idiot decided that he'd reverse into me because I gave him a couple of fingers for blocking a junction and smashed the front bumper on my car... And on top of that when I got into work I'd forgotten that I'd booked this day off!!!! So I shouldn't even have been on the road at that time of the morning!!!!!!!!!
At least I've got the day's holiday back...
I need Glenmorangie and his mates, Glenlivet, and Laphroaigh.

If it's Matt telling us that a new route has been added to the CD section, then it's news. If it's a display ad in one of the sidebars, it's an advertisement.
I wasn't getting at you, Mr. P - simply explaining where the confusion arose.
