Can't upload the game completely

Several times today I have tried to upload the program of Microsoft Train Simulator and about halfway through the program stop responding. Then I have to close the program through Task Manager and restart the computer. But so far it did not solve the problem. My operating system is Windows XP SP-2 (Home). But I changed the target line in properties of MsTS. Here what I have now in that line below:

"D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\train.exe" /anisotropic

That is for my ATI Radeon 9250 128MB graphic card where I got the edit line from ChrisTrains website about the line for ATI graphic cards.

Do you think that is the problem so I might have to re-edit the line back to where it was before?? But I can't remember the target line before. Or do I have to re-install the program of Microsoft Train Simulator?? Hope not because it's a big pain to do this but might have to.

I'm sorry, but would you explain a little more precisely what it is you're trying to do?
'Uploading' the program means you're trying to transmit it over a connection to a server or other computer - and that is not allowed by the Licence.

If however, you mean you're trying to launch, run, or open the program, then I suspect that the command line parameters are incorrect - but it will need a better DOS expert than me to tell you how.
Does it load if you remove the '/anisotropic' reference? If so, it means that the syntax of that is incorrect.
Does it load if you run train.exe from the location?
If not, well, start from basics; does the command line refer to where your program file is located? (Drive:\ folderfolder etc...)
Is it properly registered in that location? Check the registry entries with RegEdit or RegHance.

After that, you're in the hands of the DOSsers on here - I never could get to grips with a cli...

Belleville eh. My brother-in-law is from there.

My command line is

"D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\train.exe" /anisotropic /fsaa

so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with yours.

Have you added some new rolling stock lately (or deleted some)? Sometimes if there's a problem with a piece of rolling stock, MSTS won't load all the way.

Conbuilder and Route Riter are the key to finding any problems with stock or routes that might not be installed correctly, I can't recommend them highly enough!

latimers--it's a small world to see your brother-in-law live in the same city as I live here in Belleville. I wonder if that affect my program of MsTS when I installed the route of Crawford Hill Route that was created by John Stanford. I will move this route out of MsTS Routes Folder and put in another hard drive in C and see if my program of MsTS can load all the way after click the icon "Train Simulator" from the desktop. Will let you know if it is successful or not.

Took the advice to see any latest files that I have installed into the program of MsTS to be removed. Well it's working now to load the program of MsTS completely on my computer. The latest file is a freeware route that I installed Sunday night. Glad that I don't have to reinstall the program of MsTS. Happy trainsimming.
