Ex-Virgin Trains Class 90 (Coming Soon)

Post by ChristopherJolly »

Hey gang,

I have had some spare time to myself recently and within that time I decided I would (try) and make something for MSTS.

I've started off with something veeeeery simple, just a Class 90 in Ex-Virgin Trains Livery. (The 90 is based on 90007 which is now with 'one' Anglia still in Ex-Virgin livery)

Before I can upload it I need to get permission off the authors (Backfoot2002 and Pepsipowell - So guys check your E-Mail/PM boxes soon! :))

I also have a few other projects planned up my sleeve, but they will remain secert until I know for sure they will be ready for public release! :D

All for now.

Nice work, although it might be worth noting that there's an updated 90 model from Jonathan- check either of the RES ones, you should be able to transfer the textures straight across.

Welcome back!

As simont says, definately use the newer model (any of the RES/IC/one downloads), until seeing that screenshot I'd forgotten how much worse the old one was!

Definately ok to upload with me :)

yep, looking cool, but might be worth putting through photoshop/paintshop/dogwaffle first to add your alpha channels, they make a world of difference :)

Otherwise looking great :)

Hi Richard,

Your 90 looks fab and those new Anglia Railway Mark 2 coaches look excellent! :)

How about we both upload our models together?

Nothing wrong with having two of the same model just renumbered, it makes more things interesting! :)
Keep up with the good work!

Meanwhile here's my 90007 repaint in the new model

Thanks to Johnation for letting me have permission to use the model! :)
I just need to get in touch with Anton for permission to use the 90 VT texture then it will be ready for take off! :)

Judging from you screenshot, you also need to update the coaches.

The latest ones from Backfoot are much better and will not tower over the loco.

They're Mk2s, not Anton's new Mk3s.

Are they another due-to-be-released Backfoot repaint though?
