Shape File Viewer Download

Post by johndibben »

I downloaded the SFV from UKTS and an error 429 was reported that a license was required.

Didn't see anything in the readme and visted Paul's own site, followed the link to steam4me and found a note saying the answer was to run:

REGSVR32 /V DX8VB.DLL

Wondered if it would be helpful to include it in the download or readme.

Apologies if it's already written in large letters somewhere :)

John you may also want to check to see that F1 and other help functions in programs are still working. The latest release of SFM should be OK but it also can cause problems with help functions.

If you have an issue the fix is similar to the license issue run REGSVR32 against the following files:

Itircl.dll
hhctrl.ocx
itss.dll
AE Shop (virtual) Carrage & Wagon Works.
GWR Locos & stock for MSTS.
