1. GWML Carmarthen - London Padd.
2. GWML(ish!) Cardiff - Portsmouth/Southampton.

3. Brecon and Merthyr railway, Merthyr Tydfil - Brecon (Via Torpantau tunnel, highest tunnel in UK!)

5. Last one! Aberystwyth - Shrewsbury.

1) Pro Train Rheintal! Seriously, I was in Germany recently and travelling down the rhine in an ICE, particularly the Koblenz - Bingen section, is a great journey.

2) Any sort of suburban route really - particularly Southern, Great Eastern, and the south end of the WCML.

The best would have to be the east coast mainline, the entire route from Kings Cross to Edinburgh.

2nd would have to be Leeds to Blackburn, it past through some absoultey beautiful scenery. I went from Grantham - Leeds - Blackburn to see LOUISE on March 14th .
