Blackpool Tramway 1.3 CD Released

Post by leviathan1949 »

Just to let you know, if you didn't read the front page, the CD Version of Blackpool Tramway has now been finalised and released.
The route (Version 1.0 by Vern Moorhouse) has been enhanced to Version 1.3 with the inclusion of Paul Williams Pleasure Beach and ambience enhancements and Geoff Holts Tram Sunday and other embellishments.
The CD includes all the Trams available, Blackpool, Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester and the Supertrams. It also includes 17 activities from various authors. Full details and credits are in the README file on the CD.
It is an autoinstaller, just two clicks and its done.

Would contributors please PM me with a snail mail address.
Peter Peddlesden - The Model Railway Anorak.

This is the first Tramway Route to be put on CD. :D :D :D

I would just like to express my thanks to all, who have made this possible, with special thank's to Vern Moorhouse for building this excellent route. :D :D :D

Thank's also to Chris Lindop, for providing us with a brilliant Tram Fleet and other items for the route. :D :D :D
and to everyone else who has contributed. :D :D :D
Paul Williams ( V1.1 Patch )
Steve Nicklin ( Blackpool Balloons & Railcoaches)
Jeff Layfield ( Funfair Items & many Night Textures)
Fred from Sheffield ( Blackpool Boats )
Richard Scott (Feltham Trams)
and many other's, whose objects have been used to add variety to this route.

Lastly, I would like to thank Mat & Peter for compiling this route to CD and making it available on UKTrainsim. :D :D :D

Oh and of course myself, for all the curses, swearing, and moans from the wife :argue: during the build up to V1.3 on this very fragile route. :drinking:

Hopefully, I hope to get the Illumination's version done in the coming new year, which will be a separate route from V1.3 and is being built on Vern's Original Route V1.0 to bring it up to V2.0   :-? :D

Yes, I think Pete will do this version on CD too, then there will be a choice of the same route with two different themes.
