The Great Central was being built but I believe the scenery builder has run into problems. I'll let Chris explain

Microsoft unfortunately cancelled MSTS2 however there are two new and exciting Train Simulators being developed in the USA. One is TMTS (Train Master Train Simulator) which has Tim Court as project manager, see forum on here regarding news. The other is the TA TS (Train-Artisan Train Simulator). These guys were helping Microsoft with MSTS2 when the project was cancelled. They are putting a lot of work into make their new sim multiplayer friendly :)

Hope this is of help,

Dan

No, to question 2.

Don't know, to Question 1 - various people have said they're going to start it, but how far anyone's got I've no idea

Woodhead was Great Central (well, MSLR originally).

Annersley (sp?) to London, I don't think there's any of that likely to be on the scene too soon.

Hi

I have DEM and UKFS track from Nottingham to Leicester (50's), but at the moment Boeing wont talk to me, and no one else seems to want to work on it, so it'll just sit on my HD until someone does. There are some screenshots arounds somewhere.

Someone known to me did extend Woodhead 2.2 all the way down to Marylebone but it was never sceneried to completion - I haven't had any updates from him for about 6 months :(

As there are so many versions of the route I was working on (Midland mainline to London) I was considering doing the GCR (Annesley - Not sure how far south to go).

I've got the 3 volumes of George dow's Great Central Railway, full of gradient profiles, track plans, loco and coaching stock diagrams etc. I can scan anything if needed and email to anyone who needs the info.

However - it's my dad's Xmas pressie - and it needs to be wrapped pretty shortly, so requests quickly before the sellotape comes out!

Vidal,

Track diags and gradient details would be good if you could find the time and would be so kind.(decided to make a start Mid December and go from Annesley to london (Possibly in stages).

James,

I'm glad to hear you managed to track them down - I hope your dad enjoys them.

David,

Yes, managed to track them down, £65.00 plus p+p - excellent resource, pity that I can't keep them myself, but then I'd have to find another pressie for my Dad!
