custom sounds for the Ffestiniog locos

is there anyone out there who knows if there is anywhere where i can get better sounds for the ffestiniog locos and talyllyn locos........these default sound sound way too loud for a narrow gauge loco

There are no sounds packs that I'm aware of specifically for NG locos (Talyllyn or Ffestiniog)
As an improvement, try installing the 2 Cylinder sound apck (from this site) - it's a marked improvment over the default FScot or 380 class sounds. I use these myself and they are more realistic (if not quite synchronised with wheel rotation - they are designed for 6' 6" wheels afterall

I use the sounds and the cab from the Kitson that used to available as freeware from 3D Train Stuff. Not perfect but not bad. Problem is, it's not available any more.
