tpo acts for the new WEST COAST WAY route

hi all.

im a big fan of the tpo (traveling post office) trains.

just wondering if any has the stock from nwe v2 cd

86425 consist 86425 + 11tpo

can they do some acts for west coast way , you can start either morning or day or even night , stoping at big stations but belting past the small ones.

and have al trains only as 86425 + 11tpo stock flying by.

i was exsploring the route i used that stock it was quite good stopping only at big stations.

id be very gratefull if someone can do this act for me.

You can't run 86s on West Coastway, it's 3rd rail, and they need overhead wires.

i know but it worked for me/ rember msts isnt real , cause u cant do it in real life.


i just looking for someone who can make the act for me .

Yeah, but I think something so wildly unrealistic would put people off- both from making it, and using it. A 47 would be better, RES 47747 is on the NWE CD.

ok a res 47 then or any other deisel on nwe v2 cd hualing the tpo stock will be good who ever can make the act.

I would be prepared to do a Class 60 Hauling the TPO based through the New West Coastway for UKTS en masse if the want is there?

Class 60s are limited to 60 MPH.
They would only work a postal in an emergency.

If you have manned sorting van you would also need ETH.
Posties were always complaining about lack of heating.

Electric Train Heating.

It was a 750v (if you were lucky) power supply from the loco for heating and air conditioning.

Used about 300hp of the locos power which effectively killed off the use of type 2s on passenger work and made the class 40s useless on expresses.

The Lincoln to Derby TPO was 31 hauled and steam heated....mind you that was back in the 80s.....but it was great. :P

I also thought that the line looked a bit o.k for another Thomas activity, ( only at reduced graphics..u don't see the third rail )
