iLDG MD11

Post by bigvern »

I recently downloaded the above from Avsim together with sounds and a panel. When trying to taxi with the aircraft it is pulling over to the left. Tried trimming the rudder but no effect. Anyone else had problems with this model or is it me (again)?

Sure all the engines are running? Sounds daft but I have had it happen

Could you let me know the filename please :D.

I saw a Varig (I think) MD-11 package on there. Don't remember who it was by though, or are you referring to the iFDG MD-11 packages?
I've about 2 dozen if the iFDG MD-11's installed but just have - wrongly - been using a DC-10 panel and a pretty generic GE sound package.

Would be keen to know your setup for this tri-jet.

Aircraft = iFDG_MD11_American Airlines
Panel = md11_pan.zip (by Antonio Bucoli)
Sound = iFDG MD11 Soundpack

I wondered about the engines as I have had that before on a two engine plane with autostart, only one actually started though with the MD11 all three N1 etc fans are turning on the panel. I normally shut down the engines on starting a flight so I can get the authentic feel of pushback then start.

Yep looks like it was the engines. Ctrl-E only started one or two despite the indications. Have started flight and left engines running, no problems.

If you have FSUIPC yo can select a hotkey to ensure all engines are in sync - sometimes both will be running but only one (or perhaps 2 in this case) are actually being worked by the throttle quadrant

I may look for a better panel as the one in question has no button for GPS and no throttle or fuel monitoring section.
