Yes....but if some-one with brains ( that rules me out ) could re-skin as "6201" in LMS maroon it would make my day....and that of many others.

PLEASE don't take the following personally , OK??

Your post seems to assume the Author has no interest in doing any more variants. But do you know what his plans are?? You don't say if you do.......

Better I think if you had:-

1. Read the readme and any forum posts from the Author thoroughly, and if the info is not there, checked politely with the Author as to his intents. (also at the same time a thanks for what he HAS done would not go amiss)

2. If no more planned, AND he/she's agreeable to reskins, posted with this info asking for reskins.

In other words, you may think you cannot reskin (and I urge you to try!!!), but you can still help others and contribute to the community.

You may just have failed to mention doing all this of course........

In fact I have already scanned the skins closely with regard a "red" LMS/BR reskin for later action if Peter does not wish to do any more, but have currently done no more as Duchess project work comes first.

Also, you'll note there is (almost!) a RED Princess, albeit the one off Turbomotive variant, also Peter's work. The skins are not laid out or scaled the same, but would be a start..............a bit of cut and pasting, then fill in or recolour the missing bits??

I suggest you check with Peter that it's OK to reskin, and have a go.......you don't know what you can do till you try (and try, and try, and try, like I had to when I started!!)

Peter has actually done a nice job with 46203. I really like the way he has done the textures, nice and detailed.

Only criticisms are the smokebox door numberplate showing 6203 and the valve-gear could be a bit finer. However valve gear is one of those difficult things to model...

If you are reading this Peter, well done! And can we have a few more variants please! :D

regards

Dan

I'll second that, Peter! :D
Very nice model, and goes nicely with Bravedan's new Duchesses!!! It's LM "Heaven" at the moment!! :D

(If you are planning further variants, did I ever mention "Marie Louise"???)
