Out of date message in activities

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Out of date message in activities

Post by MrHillingdon »

When I'm in the middle of creating my own activities I sometimes get a message telling me that another activity is out of date and that I should save it. When I go to that activity it seems like some of the routing or something within it has changed. How can I stop this happening please?

That will happen if a path or service is used in more than one activity - editing it in one will "break" it in another.

Also if you make a minor change to the path, by moving the start or end point a tad, when you save it doesn't get saved properly, leading to "service out of date" the next time you open that activity - so after changing the path in this way, save, close and re-open it to make sure all is well.

IF you have to change a path, use the template button, then it will not mess up any other activity.
