The USAF is in town!

I've just had 3 F-15 Eagles thunder low over our house, not the sort of thing you expect in south east London!

They were actually on their run in to do a flypast display at the Biggin Hill air fair, but boy did they sound good

We also had a good view of the Red Arrows...

regards

Dan

Over the last 10 years I've only missed a handful of grand prixs. I guess the Preston round of the F1 World Championship eluded me.

I get a few aircraft every other hour fly over my house on approach for Gatwick. Most seem to head for the Seaford VOR from the east or the Mayfield VOR? (TV Transmitter) from the South. On a good day you can see which airline it is.

Had a BA 737 fly around 4 - 5000 feet above my house the other day, Gatwick is about 40 miles away. Is that usual?

It is for certain airlines!

"Cheap Air Two Six this is Stansted. You might find the localizer if you tune the right frequency."

"Uh Stansted all we get is Radio One Over... "
