A request...
I'm posting this on behalf of 'ca55ie' who is, I'm reliably informed, in a land far way from here, and also far away from t'Internet. He'll be flying home tomorrow on a 'VLM Fokker 50' (being a non-aviation type, that went straight over my head...no pun intended
), and would like to know if such a thing can be downloaded for Flight Sim 9...
Any help would be 'preciated muchly by Sam

Just had a look on flightsim.com. There is one for 2002 in the VLM colours which may work in 2004, but not tried it. This requires the download of two filesets. There is a 2004 version of the Fokker 50 but not in the VLM colours.
Not tried any other sites.

AFAIK FS has backwards compatibility - so an FS2002 aircraft shiuld work in FS2004 (I can still use FS98 aircraft in FS2002 - not that I want to!),
I downloaded a rather nice F50 for FS2002, no longer have it though

That's a nice aircraft. If you trawl the likes of avsim, flightsim and simviation I'm sure someone will have painted it up in VLM colours.

I've just aliased the Dash 8-300 Pro sounds to it.
The two use different P&Ws but I imagine they sound quite similar. The other alternative I found was the Rolls-Royce Dart sounds that Rick Piper (http://www.btinternet.com/~rick.piper/index.htm) offers for the Handley-Page Dart Herald.
