Thats looking really excellent, im impressed! Glad to see this version has Cynfal in it, will the stream there flood over the track in winter activities?
Give us a shout if you want help testing or just any help you want really, and re: your email, I probably wont be down on the TR for some time, its been nearlly 2 years since I was last down; never mind, ended up on road locos instead....

Bravo!
Out of interest, how big are you making your bridges, its something if found is a bit of an oddity when it comes to MSTS.

I've tried to scale them from photos but I confess I've always had to adjust them to get the height right. Usually increasing it to something strange but it then sits correctly on the ground. What's your experience showing up on this?BruceB wrote:Bravo!

Nice to know its not just me then! I've been making some very odd bridges indeed - Standard gauge ones in 2x scale! In general I had to resort to using SFM to scale them correctly.spontin wrote:I've tried to scale them from photos but I confess I've always had to adjust them to get the height right. I Have however gained some usefull experince which might help anyone trying to make bridges for a 2x route in the future...
4 Lane Road (which becomes 2 Lane in 2x) is about 18m wide so for bridges carring such roads 18m is enough. Also for bridges going over such roads, 18m is more than enough.
MSTS "Normal" track is just over 5m wide, so for bridges carrying the railway 5m is about enough.
2 Lane road is about 10m wide.
When it comes to making the arch, I've found that 20m wide (including the abutments) and 15m tall (including the top) is about large enough for a bridge going over a 4 lane road, or a "SG" bridge.
For pure narrow gauge overbridges, 8-10m wide including abutments, although hight will vary from route to route depending on what stock your using! NGG16s are rather larger than Dolgoch and Edward Thomas!
