Plymouth to Par

Hi all

I have put my branch line route on hold as it is hard when hardly anything of the line is left today

How many people here are intrested in the route from Plymouth to Par - modern day? including branch line to Looe, and possibly to fowey?
I am now starting on this route here.
Could anyone help me with where i can get gradients for the route please?

Also, has anyone built Brunel Bridge - It would be very handy for me

Seems your just advertising rather than asking if you should build it, it doesn't matter if someone says yes or no, your still going to build it. As you've clearly stated -

So you could have a million people saying "no" and you'd still build it. Route Building shouldn't be a drag for other people, it should be for your enjoyment, so get cracking

Matt would be great. A fantastic bit of route building it would be.

A book that u might find handy would be Line by Line (Great Western Mainline) from Padd to Penz. The book covers track diagrams, gradient profiles, running lines and trackbeds, station layouts, closed stations, miles & chains, junctions, signalboxes and your tunnels and viaducts.

Dockyard Halt
Keyham
St Budeaux Victoria Road (gunnislake Branch station)
St Budeaux Ferry Road
Saltash
St Germans
Menheniot
Liskeard - possibly stations to Looe as well
Bodmin Parkway
Lostwithiel - possibly line to Fowey (frieght line)

Hope it helps - i aslo plan to have St Blazey in place for frieght trains.

Cant wait to drive the route as i allways seem to miss that train and end up having to wait ages! but on a sirious note- best of luck with it and im sure it will be great! Dont let anyone else say different- looking forward to it

not much done mate - i have had a few other things to do - work might start on it soon - i have all gradients etc ready for it

Great idea, but IMHO concentrating on the western end would be the best bit - including the St Blazey yard and PAr docks line. Add the Fowey branch, Moorswater and mainline trains out of Cornwall and you have there great potential for china clay train activities...

Be best if it was set in the 80s - the main line traffic would be more interesting with 45/1s, 47s, hoovers, HSTs, mk1 DMUs and of course 37s on the china clays. Might even be a use for 50149... And then you could drive an 08 around the docks.

In fact, a route covering the cornish china clay traffic would be most interesting....
