Tried to load up a flight LSGG-EGLC (in FS2002). Tried to fill in the ICAO location as 'LSGG' and got the airport 'Long River 1' in Alaska. Decided I must be typing the wrong ICAO, so typed in 'Geneva' and got Geneva Mun in Alabama! Realised something was up, so decided to select 'Switzerland' from the drop down country menu, only to find it missing! Checked in the scenery library but nothing was incorrectly unchecked.
So somehow I managed to land at an airport that doesn't exist in FS-world
How can I get Switzerland back?
Switzerland has officially vanished!

You know you're a pilot when you drive off a cliff, and your last words are "Gear up!"

Can you select "go to a exact location" or whatever it was called in the latest two installments of FS?
I have Cointrin down as N46°14'17.03" E006°06'32.22.
Is the airport there, just not in the scenery library?
p.s. serves them right for staying neutral and producing such a stupid shaped chocolate bar.

Is it the only country to have disappeared
?
Do you have add-on scenery installed for any of Switzerland
?
Strange that it should disappear.
I've moved on to FS9 but do have a FS2002 installation - for Dreamfleet 737-400 - and in my scenery.cfg Europe is simply divided into two, and I've been disuaded by WinXP from opening the .DAT files
.

Found it. Loaded up on a grass runway in France (couldn't get Lyon
). used the FS2002 map view to move the aircraft, except the ICAO codes didn't cover Switzerland so I guessed and placed my aircraft in the Geneva area... and amazingly was just feet from the 23 threshold!
