Coming Soon... FR alpha 2.0 - Screenshots

Post by batroost »

Hi Everyone,

This post is to let you know that there will shortly be an update to the
FRalpha route - FRalpha 2.0. It's mainly a scenery update (of course!).
Kevin and I are just testing at the moment and hope to have it available
for you in the next few weeks.

I'm not entirely sure of the logistics yet; route is ~100MB stand-alone
or ~50MB as a Patch from alpha1.1, I expect that the stand-alone will be
available from the FR on cd with (hopefully) the patch available from an
FR website (but we'll let you know).

So, here are a few Pictures to show you what we've been up to....

Criccieth Castle returns with the evening Train:

And to show you there's still more to do...

Hope to get it to you soon...

Looking very good. I drove the alpha 1 for a while but this is now looking so much more...well...more really! I like your disused trackbed and the landrover track down to it, nicely done.

That looks very good really improves on the A1.1 version, and the distant hills in the view over the Cob certainly improve that view a great deal.

Love it! :D

One question though. When it's finished will this be freeware or payware?

Excellent! This is really coming on nicely now. I especially like the screens around Tanygrisiau. Keep up the great work.
