barrow hill roundhouse?

PLease tell me someone is thinking or indeed already done a Barrow Hill Roundhouse, for the train sim, I spent many a year as a child visting with my father and i still visit (the 1979 thing was great yesterday) and the place is very special to me and would be great to have it on the simulator? id do it but wouldnt know where to start

Yes I agree its a great place to visit...no unfortunately its not something thats been done in MSTS....and I have to say it would be very limited to do anything with...certainly you cannot have a working turntable in MSTS. :cry:
However there are American and some European routes that do contain non working roundhouses. :P

If you think of it purely as a diorama as suggested in one of the route building threads earlier in the year then there might be demand for it.

For instance have the loco on the far side of the turntable to start an activity then just drive across it. There would also be other loco's on the lines radiating off the turntable, perfect screenshot material! 8)

Tried to knock one up on the SVR mainline but it fell through when I couldn't find a turntable. Might have a go again at it, or even if time permits a small route on one tile with loads of shed type buildings, a works, water tanks, coal staithes and a roundhouse, or two :wink:
