I understand that the June Model Rail has a feature on this line, and in order to preempt any competition

I present the following:

Pretty primrose coaches by me.

You can see the beginnings of buildings at Hulme End - the Northern terminus.

Without wishing to let too many felines out of bags, I can reveal that all three periods of the line will be modelled, and that the NSR interchange at Waterhouses will also be fully modelled, with appropriate rolling stock provided.

The track laying is now about 75% completed - and work is afoot on the rest of the rolling stock to boot.

I hesitate to peg a release date, but Christmas (insert year here) is looking good, and almost certainly before Highworth... (I dare you Martin!)

Thats looking very promising indeed, I cant wait to see the final results of that!

Is that a threat or a promise? How is Highworth coming along Martin? I hope its begun to behave itself?

I think you'll find that's a temprary texture... these are certainly pilot models...

Thank God for that, as a new texture really will do it justice. This is a most exciting project.

Incidentally I have read that a miniature version of a Leek and Manifold loco is to be displayed at Railfest next week!

Well, isn't that a coincidence - I was thinking / half-dreaming of how to do the L&M coaches only last night! All looks very good - looking forward to changing trains at Waterhouses and travelling to Hulme End in the near future..

Nice models this is my favroite lost NG railway it all ways had a funney continental feel about it.

Incedently the Bure Valley latest loco is a leek & Manifold engine.
