313112 in the dirt!

Post by SlinkyWizard »

Had a little surprise waiting for me at Euston this morning - 313112 was a very naughty train and didn't want to go out and play...

It would appear to be a SPAD, as the catch points were set to derail the train. We shall have to wait and see the official response.

Seems to me it was too keen to go out and play, rather than being reluctant. ;)

Whats interesting to me is that the front bogie stayed on the proper stuff, and the rear bogie and the front bogie of the next hit the deck

The front wheels of the first bogie are off, but the rear wheels are still on. Had another look today, and they have chocked out of use the points affected - meaniong the sidings between Platforms 15/16 are out of use.

I wonder if the points moved under him? Fautly point lock, hence them being C&P
