Mountain Railway (TRS2004)
Hi all,
Just to say that a few weeks ago I started a route with my friend Alex and we called it the Narrow Gauge Mountain Rly but we are looking for a better name for it. Any suggestions welcome.
The route is a fictional mountain railway and is 2ft narrow gauge. You might want to watch out for the odd animal! The railway is surrounded by trees and mountains. It has three halts named:
Clackington (Terminus)
Lakeside (On branch line only)
Mountainside (Halt)
and
Clackington (terminus)
As you would of thought it is a circular route.
Ohh and its for TRS2004
Screenshots to follow.
When Iam ready I will upload it on to Uktrainsim or TRS2004 Website
Iam only 11 so when I post screenshots please dont be to hard .
Thanks
James

Sometime today.
More News- I have started on a new route called The North Moors Light Railway. Again a fictional route just putting signals in but not much in the way of scenery. And on the Mountain light railway:
Sorry to say this but I have to have a better name before I upload it. Again any suggesgions welcome. But on a better note I hope to have some screenies of the MLR (mountain light rly) today or tomorrow.
Thanks
James

How about using a welsh sounding mountain name, like Ddu (Black) or Bach (Small), Mawr (Big/Large) or even a mixture or an alteration of a real location's name like Rhydd Ddu Mawr. Meaning Large Black Ridge when tanslated into English and reversed otherwise it would be Ridge Black Large which does seem a bit illogical. But if you can find a name that suits then use it.
Seeing the above post with Small Peak, how about Moely Bach or Moely Mawr (Little hill and Big Hill respectivly)
Happy name hunting

Ok worked out how to upload the screenshots now so here they are
1) This shows the train standing at the terminus Clackington waiting to depart to Clackington on a round trip.

2)This shows the next station which you reach via the branch line or not, Mountainside.(WIP)

3)This is clackington town not far away from clackington station.(You pass it on the Branch line!)

4)I have been saying these two words in the post lots of times so let me show you Riverside station on the BRANCH LINE!

5)Last but not least a screnie showing the part of the line where you go inbettween the mountains.

I would now like to thank once again my friend Alex (Alex10) who gave me the inperation. If he haden't been there to give me the idea this topic would of never been created.
Thanks for all the route Name ideas I will consider them all.
Anyway any comments welcome but as I said before dont be to hard because Iam only 11.
More shots to come.
Thanks
James
