CD Orders...Delivery ETAs ?

Hi
Posties been this morning....no CDs

....just wondered who was/is dealing with the CD orders please.
Have in the past got confirmation emails

We've had several hundred CD orders come in over the last few days and given that these are all burned and labelled specifically to order that means that Dad is spending almost 15 hours a day working on building up the stock to get orders out.

The plan as at yesterday was to complete the burning and packaging and ship the first load out this morning - which should get it almost right up to date. So in theory... most orders should be with you Saturday or Monday, you'll get a despatch email sent out today if yours went today.

You'll have to bear with us at the moment, sorry!

150 orders were shipped this morning at 10.30am. Over 200 CD's to places as far away as Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Marra mine did the same a few weeks ago but it came after a few days an a bloody good investment it was as well

Sorry guys, but my inclination would be to have a Standard Condition that you don't complain about non-delivery for at least a week in the UK and Europe, two weeks for the rest of the world.
Peter, Matt, and all the rest of the family do a sterling job getting CDs out to everyone as quickly as they can. They don't need folks grumbling because the things didn't travel a few miles in a couple of days!

If it's any consolation, I've just droppped a CD packet into my local US Post Office to go to New Jersey, First Class. It's going to take 3 to 5 days to get there - and you're complaining?

Luckily we have " The Royal Mail" in the UK still (even with all these . foriegn courier companies scimming off the creame)....next day delivery virtually anywhere in the country.

Not everything in America is better.

RM can still be abysmal... We don't recieve our mail until after midday now

The number of cheques that go missing coming here is frankly shocking. Royal Mail, certainly in this part of London, are a bloody embarrasment.

As a point about Royal Mail:

--> Freightliner are trying to/have secured a deal to get the TPO's back on the network.

--> The little info metal plaques to say when the box will next be emptied are coming back, as letter boxes are just emptied whenever since they dissapeared. I like them, tell's you if the postie has been or not.

I'm afraid thats the oldest one in the book..."Cheques in the post"....second can't be posted here on decency reasons.

Generally speaking if you post before before 17.30 your letter will be delivered next day,to your door (not necessarily AM though Martin) on the UK mainland....it is still the fastest mail service in the world.

Ours usually makes it around 1pm or thereabouts, and if there's a parcel all he does is ring the bell and immediately walk away, i've seen the . do it.

Not tarring all posties with the same brush by any means at all, in fact the guy that actually runs Leytonstone depot is a bloody top bloke who usually drops parcels around in person on his way home from work, unfortunately it's the idiot that delivers our mail who represents the post office as a whole for this area and I don't think anyone is overly enamoured with him (including aforementioned gentleman at the depot).
