Here we go then, I've made a start.
This is UKNTruescale, with scenery at x2 scale.
Trying one the default “railâ€

Trouble is the sleepers make the track look some how "Standard Gauge". I think if you made the sleepers smaller it would look better.

Just some constructive critiscism (however you spell it  )

Loopks good, though it will become more 'Real' when it's got some 2x scenery. :)

Track laying finished,
I’m off to bed, and a wedding to attend tomorrow.

Agree with John, needs something doing to the sleeper and ballast texture to make it look more fifteen-inchy.

Andrew,

This is very interesting. Is MSTS happy with the reversing loop and the triangle? I tried something like this once (not 15", mind you) and I got a lot of crashes and system freezes, which I attributed to the reversing loop.

Great if it works!

it a shame with the limitatitions of msts that you cannot create the correct layout with the balloon loop instead of the triangle
