Track DB lines

Post by jefran »

A while ago I mentioned my Wirksworth branch and CHPR route. As a narrow gauge person at heart I realised that the Ashover Light Railway wasn't far away and so I terraformed a big chunk of Derbyshire. I laid the main line of the ALR over Christmas and then got on with the standard gauge stuff. When I came back to the ALR, I found that I couldn't run any trains on it, and when I went into RE, there were no track DB lines. They were easily (ish) restored by using the select tool and clicking on each piece of track - 6 miles + of it. Every time I make an amendment to the standard gauge track, all the DB lines disappear from the ALR, but amending the ALR does not affect the standard gauge.
Has anyone else had the problem? What causes it? Is there a secret conspiracy against the narrow gauge? Is there a quick way of fixing it - or better still of leaving the DB lines intact?
