SEVERAL MORE Foxfield Railway screenies

Post by Christopher125 »

Hi

More info can be found in the RB forum, but here are a few new pics from around the colliery. The first one is from the colliery station, looking towards the upper yard (behind the trees), and Dilhorne Park, up the 1in28, rising to 1in19. The next four are the upper yard, however, I have no idea of the track plan for this yard, so any help would be wonderful.

Hi Chris,

That is starting to look very good. Keep it up and show us more screenshots when you have them.

Just a thought. How would this thread be if we could not make comments on the screen-shots ................?

Some more industrials would be nice the we would have something to run on it other than J94s.

Hi Everyone

You will be pleased to hear that I have just completed all of the main-line track, with pretty much realistic gradients from Blythe Bridge to the Colliery, however, I am having a bit of trouble working out the trackplan of Caverswall road, and I ain't gotta clue about Blythe Bridge. Any help would be appreciated.

(I could post some screenies of the finished track if you want)

Hi

I have taken a few more screenshots of trains actually working the route:-

Image

Image

Two pictures of a Pannier climbing the last section of 1in28 from the colliery, before entering Dilhorne Park station.

Image

Image

These two images show a pannier arriving at Dilhorne from the opposite direction (from Caverswall Road)

Image

These two pictures show a austerity and a pannier tackling the formidable Foxfield Bank

And lastly, thess pictures shows the NCB austerity climbing up towards dilhorne Park out of the colliery, then past the upper yard.

Ihope you like these pictures. I am still on the hunt for photographs of the line, I have only found 5 of the rest of the line between Dilhorne Park and Blythe Bridge, so any more would help. Also, as I have posted elsewhere, could some kind soul do a repaint of a Bluearrow brakevan (I dont know which one - I'm not muck of an expert on Brakevans) to the blue NCB livery one found on the FR (see pic - http://www.sharpos-world.co.uk/mainindx ... 007622.htm )
