New username

Post by jjules »

I want to dump my old username (ie this one I'm using now), preferring to use a new one.

However, I cannot do so. At first I assumed it was because I hadn't logged out. Done that, but you can't fill in the boxes to put a username or password in.

Do I need to do this via the forums, or via the UKTS front page?

The change username unfortunately doesn't work. You need to PM or email Matt with your CURRENT username and the NEW username you want to replace it with.

You MUST be kidding me! How do new users register then? This is what I wanted to do, register as a new user, with a 100% fresh start.

You must be having me on. Well, I've registered. Just going to go through all my threads under jjules now, replying where necessary, and that will be the end of jjules!

Of course. That was blindingly obvious.

I'm not fussed anyway. I wouldn't mind paying again for Premium membership.

I'll e-mail Matt though. Within 10 minutes, my last post on this persona will be done.

Well, it did work at least! I had changed my username before! But that was very long ago, I changed it just before I started posting in the forums, as the previous one was pretty stooopid.
If you were wondering, the avatar is me on Planet Stooopid...
