Oh I've been following the threads on MTS2 and know all the various permutations off by heart.
At present though I just don't think I've got the willpower and stamina to start another major project from scratch - there's enough short projects and loose ends to tie up that will keep me busy until 2005
Two - three months is the longest I really like to spend on any one project before inertia kicks in.

As you may know I have made numerous attempts at Llandudno - Beyond before with little sucess. However when the DEM became available I decided to start this route, although I didnt really want to reveal it yet
Puts me under a bit of pressure to deliver, something I am wary of as I failed at routes before.
I have got track plans, gradient plans (many thanks to Andy Dunnett), DEM and markers from Prestatyn to Abergele and Persarn (so far). The track is done between these two stations and I was just about to extend down to Flint when I noticed this!
Not really at the stage to post any screenies yet, but I will do if anyone wants me to.
The route is going to be done in what spare time I have with GCSEs and various coursework projects ahead.

Don't feel pressured into delivering a route within a couple of months. Take your time and deliver it when it's ready, otherwise the pressure will get to you and then you will do 1 of 2 things, deliver something you;re not really happy with or quit the project. My advice again, take your time and if it takes 12 months or more it don't matter.
Good luck.
John
