Those gentle arches sorted

Hi All

Sorted those arches with the Extrude Tool.

Easy when you know how.

I used the boolean 'Subtract' operation on a bridge I built a while ago, top of the bridge was just an elongated cube, then placed a cylinder of appropriate height/diameter crossways under the cube and subtracted it leaving a nicely rounded arch.

I then built the bridge piers as separate pieces.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).

Those gentle arches

Post by Buckeye »

Hi Mike
Thanks for the info. Will try that method when time permits. My efforts where to produce a plug that could be used on all arches with the same radii. My plug is 20mts long to accomidate all skew type bridges.

As the route expands the progress becomes slower.
