Just thought I'd show you a screenshot of my "latest" on it's first test run on the Ffestiniog (still in works grey but will probably end up grey anyway!)

Cheers

Looking great, what are the chances of a freelance diesel 'in steam panto' coming out of this?

Hi Kevin,

Looking very nice that is. Will it be on UKTS or the Ffestiniog website?

Seeing as all Kevins FR and WHR creations now go the the respective sites, i'd guess there. It doesn't really matter anyway, they're both as acsessable as each other :)

Thanks for the comments.
A couple more progress pictures with a bit of texturing added (still looking very grey!)

At the moment I only plan to release it in grey (I think that it was this colour the whole time it was on the WHR) but might do a green repaint later.

I'm presuming the model will be released on the FR/WHR websites but I could put a T/S patch on uktrainsim.

Nice Kevin, Can't Wait for it :)
Yes Gray is the colour although I think I may have been slightly darker.

Wonder how long it will before the prototype is restored?

The pictures were slightly lightened before posting (I do this to nearly all my pictures to enhance the clarity).

Colour (or in this case "lack of colour") is very subjective. It's very difficult to really now what shade of grey was used as (I presume) no paint sample chips remain.

I've "painted" it in an average primer colour and on my monitor it looks similar to the few photos I have.
