And looking nice they are - as my Eurostar is too clean, but if I add weathering, it looks like a drawing again :P

Any idea what the sounds will be like for these new Eurostars?

Personally, I think you should take some real life recordings and use those.

That would be class and I would really like to hear the screaching sound of those pneumatic brakes!

Though im not too faye with the sounds used on our model, I am pretty sure they wont be authentic. Only one commercial film crew has been allowed to film inside the cab of a Eurostar (Video125), and only one non-commercial Film Crew has ever attached recording equipment to various locations around the train (Record Speed Run coverage). Apart from that, and coupled with the very strict rules Eurostar operate by, im sure there would be no allowances for recording sounds to appear in a game!

(plus where do you hang a mic from on a Eurostar doing 300Kph with no window vents and sound proof adjoining corridors?)

It wont be the default Acela though! :D

Have you ever thought of the GNER Eurostars to get sound recordings off?

They could be a Eurostar driver on here or a GNER driver to get sounds for you. Just a thought?
