Mideast- Plans afoot!
Ok since I got dragged into it I will be giving Mideast a clean up and a lick of paint in the right places plus some undecided (As Yet) extensions since time had not previously allowed me to do what I wanted on the route.
The basic look will remain as "Mideast" BUT, most of the Fictional branchlines will be "Dr Beechinged" in favour of more prototypical track and stations etc... I feel the old modelling skills have got good enough to ditch most if not all of the default content and put something more representive into the route.
I will be leaving the original "First tile" from the old Fictional ECML intact though just for nostalgia's sake!
its the one between Sandy and St neots, the track at peterborough and all the other places like that will be getting a bit of a rework to mkae it a little better than it is, Pterborogh and st neots will also get through lines from the track maps.
I will do as much as I can so when its done it will keep you occupied till MSTS2 comes out, the real aim is to bring the eye candy up to the same standard of the current routes out there now plus a few enhancements so don't expect anything too massive!

Looking forward to this then!
I'll have to get MidEast UK in the mean time though, just to see what all the fuss is about really...That, and I'll be able to run a GNER service along the route, something which my current setup of MSTS cannot provide...

Project H2P status: Currently awaiting software to fix PC problems. Got a start on .mkr file, hoping to continue that soon. Wprk should re-commence very soon.

Hi Tim
Turning the clock back, figuratively speaking, I am installing some old activities to run at UKTS shows and was wondering what the compatibilities are for acts written on older versions.
I find that MEv1.3 is TDB ver969
I have some acts presumably written for v1.3 that call for a TDB ver966. Before I go ahead and put these on, are these acts OK?
Acts written for v1.1 (e.g. Fletton Flyash) call for TDB ver576 (or thereabouts).
Is it wise to put these much older activities onto v1.3?

YAAAAAAAY! More MidEast? How will my poor computer stand it? At the moment, when I pull ME out of TrainStore with it's 70 or 80 odd activities, it takes more time to load on its own than all the other routes put together!
It'll be a shame to see some of the branches going, but I suppose that's modernisation for you.
Will this be a MidEast 1.4 or a new MidEast 2 though?

I haven't got MidEast because I don't know the East Coast at all well. Routes I do know I have instead. I want to know why everyone loves MidEast, so I will be getting it soon!
