Smoking Brakevans Problem

I am having a problem re-loading saved activities which include a Smoking Brakevan. I get the message that the Smoking Brakevans file, but with a .wag extension, cannot be found.

I see that the fourth line of the .eng file is "Type ( Freight )". As these are set up as engines not wagons, should not this be "Type ( Engine )"? Would this cause the problem I am having?

Would think so, If you have a smoking-brake-van its an eng.file.......R

I thought it was just me being stupid - I've had to edit all consists in activities that use these smoking brake vans to replace them. Fine in explore route, but load an activity and we're at Send/Don't Send faster than the Daily Mail can bash the rail industry.

I can't help but I can confirm it's not a one-off - can anyone help?

You can only have one of them either a eng.file or a wag.file one has
go completely...........R

This thread has not considered a .wag file as being needed, just being looked for by MSTS.
