Staying logged in

Post by jolly »

Hello there

I know we can't do it at the moment but is there any chance that we could have a new feature to UKTS which keeps us logged in so we don't have to keep on logging in and out everytime we close the page. :)

Cheers

I came back online this evening and found to my surprise that I was still logged in. Make sure you have cookies enabled, and there should be a "Remember Me" option when you log in to the forums.

After you have logged in. drag the icon in the address bar onto your desktop.

You can then click on this to open UKTS without loging in.

I'm not making anything other than absolutely critical changes to UKTS at the moment - I want to focus all my effort on UKTS 2, which will definitely have the ability to keep you logged in between visits.

When you click on the UKTrainSim link from the forums, it comes up with all the required data to log you into your account automatically. Just add this address to your Favourites and you'll log in automatically when you use that link!

Eg, mine is http://www.uktrainsim.com/index2.php?fo ... _password= *************

Where ************* is the encrpyted password that it throws up at you.

Or even right click on it, and then copy and paste straight on the desktop
